Before become a full time music professional, Robbie carved out a successful career in commerce. He found time to follow his more creative objectives and has been a DJ since 1989 playing dance music venues.
In 1996 he created an underground American dance music promotion, S.O.D.A, bringing in names such as a young Pete Gooding (Cafe Del Mar), Soul Heaven & DJ Craig Bartlett (LAMERICA & SOUL HEAVEN). During 1998 he made several guest appearances at Ministry Of Sound, playing soulful house. during 2004 there were guest appearances at Club Orange, Club Generator & the Park House Graz, Austria & various cities around the UK. He currently plays at high end corporate events and has appeared with Feeder (2006), The Hoosiers and The Twang (2007). over the past two years Robbie has hosted a four night show at Copa, Cheltenham on Gold Cup Week, this has been hugely successful for his client (Greene King), entertaining up to 8000 people during race week.
He currently hosts his third year weekly residency at NINE in Stroud, playing anything from world funk, electro pop, punk funk, indie, hip hop, r'n'b soulful house, jazz, chart & party classics.
In 2004 he established Alternative Music & Events Co Ltd this promotes music events & supports commercial event businesses with concepts that create the right atmosphere.
2008 Robbie created THE Green Light Sessions live music show featuring the best new and established talent.

Robbie is also a member of Equity and the Musicians Union.
